The school opens at 8.45am so that children can be in their classroom for 8.55am. The school day ends at 3.00pm.
Children are welcome to attend Breakfast Club at £1.50 per day. Doors open at 8am.
Foundation Stage children have continuous access to outdoor provision.
Reception, and Key Stage 1 children break from 10.45am - 11.00am.
Lunch is staggered from 11.45pm to 1.00pm dependent on Year Group and lasts an hour.
At the beginning of the school day, parents/carers bring their children into school. Please note that it is our School Protocol that it is the responsibility of all parents & carers to accompany their children when dropping them off in the playground. Parents & carers must ensure that the children have entered the main school building after the doors have opened, before leaving the premises. We cannot be held responsible for children not arriving in class if the protocol is not followed. Please help us to keep our children safe—thank you.
At the end of the day, parents & carers collect their children from their designated class pick up points. If your normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know in good time. This avoids any confusion or upset and helps us to keep the children safety.
To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely. In order to keep children safe and abide by highways regulations, please do not park in the alleyways, school car parks or entrance ways.
Morning Sessions 8.30am until 11.30am
Afternoon Sessions 12 noon until 3pm
We also offer afternoon (paid for) childcare sessions for those who are not eligible for 30 hour funding. A three hour session is charged at £6. Lunch club for Nursery children is available at £1.50 per session.
